Beth first visited Moab in 1979 when she ran the Canyonlands Half Marathon and was enchanted with the stunning beauty of the red rocks and mountains. Many years later she was fortunate enough to return to Moab permanently with her husband, with other family members joining them this year.
Still running/shuffling on the trails and reveling in the desert warmth after many years residing in the Colorado high country, Beth continues to work as a health care provider/physician assistant at the Moab Regional Hospital on an as needed basis. After working in college health, family practice, overseas, on Semester at Sea, and for a huge corporate HMO, working and living in a rural Utah community is such a refreshing change. Near retirement but not there quite yet...
She believes in all Wabi stand and its significant contributions to the people and nonprofits of Moab. After volunteering at Wabi for several years, she is delighted to join the board and help contribute further to the inner workings of the organization.
